Enermax Briskie Review

Today I look at the $24.99 USD keyboard and mouse combination offering from Enermax. Yes you heard me, Enermax, the company that makes some kick ass fans, power supplies, cases and CPU Coolers. At just under $25 this kit is one of the very cheap wireless (yes wireless) keyboard and mouse combinations out there, and when I say cheap, I only mean the price, and not the function. Before starting this review I did not expect anything great from this keyboard and mouse combination, that was until I plugged it in and started using it. The combo runs on a 2.4 GHz RF wireless technology (range of up to 10 meters), that offers an instant connection once you plug in the Nano receiver into a USB port. The keyboard is spill resistant (don’t get ideas) with a low profile design. The keys are rated for 10 million keystrokes, and smooth palm rest design of the keyboard makes it comfortable for extended use. Enermax Briskie keyboard also features volume control keys which is a must have feature for any keyboard that I own. The optical mouse has a really great grip thanks to it’s ambidextrous design, allowing both left handed and right handed users to use the mouse with ease and comfort. And if that was not enough, the mouse has adjustable DPI allowing the users to choose from 800 / 1000 / 1200 / 1600 DPI with a press of a button. 1. Might be a nice inexpensive setup for the family to use. That way when they break it I’m not out a bunch of money.

  2. $25?!…. this would be great the PC in the Family Room, and help cut down on cable clutter, and Great job on the review Jesse!

Totally agree its perfect for the living room PC or in my case bed room PC with a 50″ screen,

  3. I’ve been thinking about picking up a cheap RF keyboard/mouse combo to try with my HTPC.  My Bluetooth diNovo Mini is either giving up the ghost, or it’s starting to have major interference in the signal.  Haven’t figured out which yet.

Good review, and I think I would agree with both the pros and cons.  Looks like a fair keyboard and mouse at an excellent price
