EK Supremacy MX CPU block review

EK has had great success with their Supremacy and the Supremacy EVO CPU water-blocks.  Both the blocks were very well received and EK has shown that they listen to the community and change their products as needed.  As a result EK has finally released a new Supremacy CPU water block, the Supremacy MX.  This budget oriented water-block which is easy on the pocket but offers the same level of performance as the Supremacy EVO.  Built using the same cooling engine as the EK Supremacy EVO, the Supremacy MX offers a very similar performance but at two-thirds the price of the EVO.  The overall packaging has been simplified.  The water-block comes with pre-assembled mounting mechanism that helps reduce the cost and make sure you get a precise mount every-time.  Given the design similarities between the Supremacy MX and the Supremacy EVO, you can easily upgrade your MX to an EVO if needed.

At the time of this review, the Supremacy MX water-block is retailing for $54.99 for the Intel version, and $52.99 for the AMD version.
