Thermaltake Ventus X Gaming Mouse Review

The Mod Zoo’s Stuart “noobas4urus” Johanson reviews Thermaltake’s Ventus X “eSports” Gaming Mouse.

It only takes a few moments with a good PC mouse to realize how bad some mice are. You also realize what you’re looking for in a mouse. Claw, palm, when I first started looking at mice these terms meant nothing to me. Eventually, after spending time using a few different mice, I realized I prefer palm style. With this in mind, I thought it would be great to look at the Thermaltake Ventus X Gaming mouse, a beefier gaming mouse with a high enough palm profile to support palm gamers.

Let’s get on to the mouse.

Specifications are taken from Thermaltake’s Website.

Specifications:

Taking a look at the Ventus X’s specifications, you can see a pretty standard but capable gaming mouse are offered. An Avago ADNS 9500 laser powers the mouse, giving you up to 5700 DPI for sensitivity selection. Seeming to be the minimum for a gaming mouse, the Ventus X comes equipped with 6 buttons, the standard right, left and scroll wheel, as well as a DPI selector button and two thumbs buttons.

At the time of this review. the TT Ventus X can be found at Newegg for $49.99.
