  1. Amazing build. Corsair hooked you up!
  2. Might have to give this a go, for the price you can get acrylic tubing, its worth atleast a try.
  3. Thanks for the reply guys. I like industrial type machines. Apocolyptic style. My last build was kind of inspired by Exile cycles bikes, so I could go the other direction and go full chrome and loud orange flame job style.... Bill, I've had these covers for 4-5 yrs I think, a long time anyway. Love the look and feel of them. Heres a pic I of my last build. my favourite part is the knuckleduster hdd cage! I guess I'll just keep thinking on it, something always comes to mind. Maybe when I get the new Hardware I'll have some idea of what to do. Roll on pay day...ha!
  4. Alright, got my rig up and running again, but im still gonna upgrade early next year. There is a sticker on the rear saying PC7, must be an earlier version of that case. Heres the front, with the rest being almost the same as a newer pc 6/7, less a 120mm rear fan, a 80/92mm in its place.
  5. Hi, guys. I feel like such a noob! I'm wanting a pc for very light gaming, Dayz standalone, really. As mentioned in my lian li thread, I think my mono has died, so, I have a really small budget of £400, a little more if necessary, maybe for an SSD? I used pc parts picker, because, laziness! Here is what I put together, would you chop and change anything? It's been years since I put a pc together, so I'm out of the loop with Hardware. CPU: AMD FX-4350 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (£87.59 @ Aria PC) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard (£68.87 @ Aria PC) Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (4 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£78.96 @ Scan.co.uk) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 650 1GB Video Card (£92.10 @ Dabs) Power Supply: Corsair RM 450W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£72.08 @ CCL Computers) Total: £399.60
  6. I'll get some pics up later today, but yeah, it's very similar to that, just has the small flap at the front (fnar, fnar!) for the usbs etc. I'm wanting to have a little fun, but keep it relatively clean inside. Although I think my motherboard has decided to die this morning, so upgrades may be in order.....
  7. Hi guys, I think this is in the right place, my apologies if not. I grabbed a lightly used/scuffed up Lian Li pc601 from eBay a little while ago. I want to stick my current pc in there. Now obviously I want to mod the case, but I cant for the life of me figure out a design or an idea that I like, or can afford! I have lots of MNPCTech billet bits hanging around, 120mm fan grills, 5 1/4 bay covers etc. My current pc is water cooled, has an aqua tube res, so that needs to be factored in. Any ideas? Spit ball with me. Oh, sorry no pics yet, but Google! and yes. it is an ancient design!
