First post on the mod zoo forum, Greg made me do it. I am working on building my Case labels SMA8 case with a 4770k chip in a Maximus IV Extreme motherboard. Running 16GB of vengeance memory and a single R9 290x GPU. All powered by a corsair 750 PSU. Let me know what you think of the build. Will post updates along the way. Building the computer to do CAD work as well as I would like to build an Oculis simulator for racing. Greg thinks 2x 980ti's will do the trick but we shall see. Will post pictures tomorrow.
Welcome to Computers Anonymous. My name is Greg, and I'm an Addict. ------ ( Everybody: "Hi Greg!" ) ------ Okay, well enough of that @#$#%&. Plain and Simple: I buy and sell Computers and Parts. Whole Desktops, Laptops, Netbooks, or PC Hardware. Sometimes, I buy a PC and rip it apart, just for the Parts. I prefer to deal with Performance Parts, as they use better components. I have Cases, PSUs, Mobos, CPUs, RAM, HSFs, Drives and much more. (much of it's a few generations back, as I won't pay bleeding edge prices) Every once in a while I come across a great deal, or something just cool. (Which I will post up here, to give you guys the first shot (before eBay :^) That's where "Smart Computer Store" comes in: Smart Computer Store is located in the Twin Cities. (9708 Humboldt Ave So. Bloomington, MN. 55431) I'm here between 11am and 9pm Monday to Friday and 11am and 6pm Saturdays (and many Sundays) (Although, sometimes I step away for Service Calls) It's best to call before stopping by (952) 831-4O9O.
