Hello Ladies and Gentlemen and welcome to the Log! Today I have a wonderful, exciting new mod to share with you. I have bought all my new gear and it is time to whack it into a case, and being a member of the prestigious modzoo, I cannot put it in a stock standard case(well that and stock now looks boring). So yes another ROG mod. But I promise you not another stock standard red and black theme, I have seen a painting method and really liked the look of and thought I would carry it onto my case. So stay tuned. I posted some pictures of actual molding to keep cheeps happy. Here is what the case started off as, of course the one I bought for $30 second hand is not as in good condition. After I got it naked I can get a good look a the bones, took me a good 30 - 45 mins to strip it as it is full of pop rivets and screws, not to mention the 100's of pieces I took of it. you can see the box next to it which is full of bits and pieces. Cutting a whole in the front bottom for the 240mm rad in the floor, cuts were a little rough but it will be covered with U-channel anyway. This was my big worry, cutting out the window and making sure the cuts were straight. only one point that was a little uneven I fixed with the file and a little bit of over cut on one corner, but this will be covered with painting. Let the fun begin, Paint prep. its a huge case so not looking forward to the sanding. Thants all for the start but will try and keep them coming fairly regular

Hi there guys I'm doing a build in my 800D over the next few months and decided on a tube res. I was wondering what would be the best way to mount it? I would like the mount it between the Motherboard and the hotswap bay connections but I'm not to keen on drilling into the case. If there are any suggestions please feel free to throw them my way :)
