Looking for a flash new case with some stand out features? Zalman's Z15 has air slates that open on the roof depending on case temp. I didn't see it mentioned, but I wish the front flap on the face would open/close as well in conjuncture with the roof. Tying into the roof slat circuit would be pretty easy I imagine and a cool way to have some transformer stuff go on with your case. Here's a video of the Z15 in action, as well as a prototype Mi-3 mITX case along the lines of the Prodigy. AMD released info for its new APU codenamed Kaveri at CES. The high end model, the A10-7850k, will feature 4 CPU cores, 8 GPU cores and integrated graphics equaling a Radeon HD 7750. Due to AMD's Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA) the computing core will be able to utilize both the CPU and GPU cores for calculations and will have 100% sharing of system RAM. Further benchmarks when the APUs are released on January 14th will hopefully reveal how effective this new technology is. AMD is displaying their response to nVidia's G-Sync technology at CES 2014. The new technology, "Free Sync", will reportable vary the refresh rate of the display based on the demands of the system. Free Sync needs to be supported by the GPU as well as the panel and display hardware. This would make it an easy inclusion in AMD based laptops and we will probably see it start to be integrated in monitors as well soon.
