For the 1st time built a Headset Stand for my own use...as I was thinking along time ago that I need a head set stand as my big Tactic 3d Sigma doesn't have a suitable spot in my room to lay around...The built was made to look little scrappy and waste so don't mind imperfect measurements and curves as it meant to be in that way.... The 1st idea which came in my mind that the base and the top would be a wood cutout...some scrap wood was available in the house so made a measurement to cut it out for base and top... here's another shot of the pencil sketch which was done Wanted to made both of this piece as the base and top but dew to the bad seasoning of the wood one part was broken while I gave little pressure in that.. Time to cut out the main stand which I decided to make with 6mm thick acrylic I guess this would be enough for assassination.... Here it is the complete cut of the stand...now its time to bend it... here goes nothing...one side bended....but it was difficult to bend the other side as I didn't had a proper bending tool This sides bending was nice....but the other side was... :(....but I managed to look same as much as I could Here is the stand with all its glory.... made a little bend it the top so that the headset doesn't drops or slides off... here is a nice clear shot I guess.... This is how much straight I could make as it was bend by hand... :(.... Metal cutting time.....I have cut these from some spare casing metal that I had...turns out to be useful I guess.... This little pieces will be added in the sides and front also in back to make it sturdy and supportive... 6 pieces are needed.......now its time to bend these... bending done in a scrappy way as it has to look like Poopadilly he he... :P here the front steel bend part is attached with a thin layer of red acrylic to be the side of the base.. some more shoots.... After attaching the side steel plates.... Spray painted the wood so it doesn't stay with the woodiness.... :P....Its wasn't good as the wood piece wasn't that much good quality...but as I'll not keep this color no there are no problem at all...its just to be caution to that no wood like color doesn't come out... Here is the Stands transformation....its looking good already....didn't painted the thin bottom for a reason... ;)..you will see.... Here goes my front steel plate after cutting and sanding the corners....this is my modname RKMODZ....Hope u guys like the logo...please do let me know.... Total scrappy effect done.... :P Here is the top base of the stand...CF wrapped to let it look stylish little bit.... some wiring are needed for something... And Ba-am here goes the thin side red acrylic....my heart was broken then.... :(... Started thinking that what to do...and came up with this as it was a scrappy built...so it helped..but after sometimes another part was broken accidentally...so cut a new one.. And luckily I was able to assemle the whole thing but lastly the crack came again...this time I wasn't pissed off...just figured out the thing that what I should do...cause the last staple pin wasn't a successful one.... The bottom of the stand... And this time the attempt was success....attached it with another piece of acrylic...looked scrappy of course....and also went well with the built... ;)..So I was Happy... The Back side of the stand....and there are the switch and the connector for the magic...LOL... I guess the logo is looking awesome....what you guys think...please do comment in anything freely.. :) Added some rubber feet with adhesive...so that the bottom screws doesn't make a mess in the surface where I will put it HERE IS THE FINISHED PIECE...... Lights Out.... Close shoots.... From the top... Side... Please do comment and say anything and everything you like and don't like about it....every comment is a lot appreciated....
