  1. Is there any one in the Baltimore area that's familiar in wild ways of water cooling skills? I had sent out a machine at the start of this year to a friend of mine and when he filled it he contaminated it sadly and it's now semi mucky and needs to be torn down and cleaned and refilled! Even though he's a vascular surgeon he's terrified by anything electronic with fear of killing it for good. Wonder if there's any one around that could help him out, he lives in a good neighborhood and would be able to travel to you as well as I'm sure he'll tip well :D Let me know who's around! Thanks a million! (also we may toss in a new reservoir as the current one is too difficult for him to manage)
  2. Hello I was at work and some dude brought us an old lenovo 3000 j series. It had core 2 duo 6300, 2gb ddr2 and some 250W psu. So I took the case home but I dont know if I want to keep it original or paint it. I dont plan to do any functional mods to the case. So please tell me what you think and if you have any ideas share them with me. here are some pictures that i snapped at work: http://www.imgur.com/a/QJKtp
  3. Hi all I just need a little advice I am using a MSI Z77 big bang Mpower motherboard at the moment but i got my hands on a MSI H81M-P33 with a Core i7 4770 and i just want to know if I should swop the boards. I know my bigbang is more advanced but it6 only has a core i5 3330 but with 16gb ram and loads of HDD now if i more to the new MB i will loose 8gb ram and +- 5 of my Sata slots so i dont know if it will be worth it... http://www.msi.com/product/mb/H81MP33.html#hero-specification vs http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z77_MPOWER.html both will be running my MSI GTX 660ti PE OC Thanks
  4. So I took on the challenge of watercooling and I did not plan thoroughly. I was working off ideas of others and made some changes myself. Well I cut up my 5.25 bays to make room for the front rad and forgot to take into account the water pump and res taking place of where my hdd cages were. As well as my front i/o panel wires taking up space and making the 1 bay I kept unusable. So needless to say I have my hdd's inside an encloser for 5.25 bays but need to replace the cage in my case. If anyone has or knows where I can buy the stock 5.25 bay cage or another 600T used on the cheap please message me!
  5. I notice in bill's firefly case mod, I realise how to add the rust effect but I'm not sure how do you apply the paint peeling effect like the picture below. If anyone can give some sort of direction. I only know the effect of the rusting and that the rusting process is using oxidising process where mnpc youtube show how it is done.
