This build is to add a new family member to my Titanium Builds. I call it the Titanium R. There will be 4 kinds of Titanium that I will be releasing in the near future. Titanium X - Extreme build with extreme parts and fully customized. Titanium S - Super build with Mid-high end parts using Cosmos 2. Titanium R - Radical build using Midrange parts and standard size chasis. Titanium J - Jr. size build with M-ATX/ITX parts. For this build we will build the TITANIUM R With this, I will be using the new chasis from NZXT The NZXT Source 530 This case is very compact but it has some serious space inside. what I like about this case is that the metal that were used are very rigid. And it also has very nice details. For example, the back of the case has some extruded mesh for the fans which gives more space. I also like the idea that you could re-adjust where you will be placing your radiator just in case something is hitting your fans/rad Other details, for a cheap price, I really like the way they made it fully compatible with water cooling support and the way the motherboard tray was design and created makes this special. :) So lets start doing some minor modding to it :) as some of you know, I always wanted rotated motherboard tray. With this case its very easy to convert. We just rotate the entire casing! :) After removing the front plastic panel. I made some tracing to know where I should drill holes on the top panel. and then drill! after a few minutes! Tada! we have converted the case into 90 deg rotated motherboard tray. Now I will make something for the back to make it look nice now let us add some more details! my design inspiration for this build is my favorite chair I saw one time at a store. so with this, I started doing my concept design using photoshop hopefully I can full it off. :) Now let's start doing it! first is get some cardboard and drawing the pattern needed then test fit now the side panels now let's do some cutting! Safety first! then sanding! very smooth! also the side panel then some bending! :) love it! done! Stay tuned for the next update! :) Thanks!
Hello everyone! now it's time for me to share the worklog of my latest build. The Titanium S. This is a collaboration work with my friend Ejay Bosquit where he is my first client. He really requested that I should build him a special modded rig and since he agreed that I will void every warranty of the parts that he will buy and I'm the one who will be deciding the entire look of the build, so I said "Yes! Let's build it." I let Ejay choose which hardware he will buy and use for this build since he has the budget to do so and basically he is the financer of this build. And on the modding and design part, that would be my responsibility. So let's start. First, I wanted to create a new Flagship for my Titanium family. And this will be perfect. It has no theme like the Titanium, just pure freedom. But this time it will be better. Better 90degree motherboard tray conversion, unique color theme, better layout and sexier look. That's why I called it Titanium "S". Because for some reason it's Special, Sporty, Sexy and and it's about Speed. Spec List: Rampage IV Extreme (in Black) Intel Core i7 3970X Cooler Master Cosmos II Corsair 16Gb 2400MHz DDR3 EK Waterblocks 2x Aqua Computer AirPlex 420 Radiators with Corsair AF140 4x GTX780 Reference with EKWB EVGA Supernova 1500w PSU Samsung 840 PRO 250GB in RAID0 Custom Copper Tubes (yes, that is copper tubing!) Rotated motherboard mounting Relocated PSU mounting FTW sleeving So let's start modding!!!
Hello everyone, some of you maybe familiar with me and to this build. It's already done after a year. Finally! But I want to share to you some quick worklog for this build. So you'll have a better idea how I made the Dark Knight PC. I started last year when I got one of the first batch of the COSMOS II last October 2011 but actually started posting on January 2012. after that, I suddenly had the Idea to remove the handle bars to make it more sexier. and the Idea came out. (early photoshop concept art) after a while. The Dark Knight idea grew in me. another concept art 90 deg rotated motherboard concept art for the side panel and concept art for the rear panel later on as we progress we will see the actual result.
