I'm planning on building my first computer and I'm trying to figure out as much as i can before i start. I've finally decided on starting with the white tempered glass version of the Fractal Design R6. I want to make all the exterior surfaces Chrome colored. The interior walls would be the original white of the R6 and as many parts that are silver or chrome colored as i can find. I thought that if the case was all painted the same silver or chrome color would be overkill. so far i think i have three option: 1. find a local (Chicago) auto spray painting company and having them paint the parts chrome colored. it would be better in quality and color but i imagine it may be hard to find and expensive. i still can't find a good estimate of what this would cost. 2. use a good quality aerosol paint and do it myself. I have the room and some skills in paint but i don't want to put all my time, soul and money in a system that has just an okay finish. 3. there are some new spray paint systems for a chrome finish that use a few different finishes and really look good (check out this video Aerosol painthttps://youtu.be/c9-wFTUhpT4), but my concern is that they are much more expensive than regular spray paint, and i don't want to find out that i still have a part or two to finish and I'm out of paint. i apologize for the long long post but i really want to make something special. Code name : Project Decimation Under Test (early preview). In conjunction with our new partner's we have produced an extremely special coolant for the purest out there. When we say purest, we mean the user who loves the thermal conductivity of water alone and then to add a silver kill coil for protection. What we have done is taken our Ultra-Pure H20 and 99.999% pure silver and smashed them together into Nano Tubes 20 nm to give you an Aurora Effect Real Silver Coolant. The partials used in our new coolant will never clog a system as they are so small they should even pass though filters that are currently used in water cooling systems. There is another benefit and that because we are using Silver Nano Tubes they can carry more heat than water alone making this new coolant one of the best thermal conductive coolants ever to hit the home user for liquids cooling. Another thing that will stand out is that the coolant has a 5 year “in system” life span if it is not contaminated. We recommend you do not use this coolant with Aluminium radiator’s or blocks as there is no inhibitor built into the fluid. Like many of our products this is a early preview of advance coolant. This product has a patent pending.
I notice in bill's firefly case mod, I realise how to add the rust effect but I'm not sure how do you apply the paint peeling effect like the picture below. If anyone can give some sort of direction. I only know the effect of the rusting and that the rusting process is using oxidising process where mnpc youtube show how it is done.
