TheBishop 2 Posted January 2, 2014 So i ran into this issue while individual slaving the 24pin cables on my customers 1200w NZXT Hale 90v2 PSU. So i jumped into the project a little prematurely. I didn't make a cable map of what goes to what as NZXT does not use the standard 1 to 1 PSU wiring. luckily they were nice enough to give me a pin-out guide so i'm passing it along in hopes it saves someone else the headache :) below is a copy past from the email NZXT support sent meenjoypinouts from motherside connector1. orange2. orange3. black4. 2x red5. black6. red7. black8. grey9. purple10. yellow11. 2x yellow12. orange13. orange/brown14. blue15. black16. green17. black18. black19. black20.21. red22. red23. red24. blackPinouts from the psu side1. grey2. yello3. blue4. purple5. black6. black7. black8. red9. red10. red11. orange12. orange13. green14. yellow15. black16. black17. black18. black19. black20. red21. red22.23. orange24. orange3 smaller pins1 red2 brown3 yellow
mrsteve0924 0 Posted January 11, 2014 so what why would nzxt not use the standard pin outs? seems silly
Mosquito 751 Posted January 11, 2014 I made a map for my Hale82 v2 somewhere... I think it's a pen and paper style. I know I made a spreadsheet version of the Silverstone Strider, but that's easy lol Nice of NZXT to provide it, and thanks for sharing!
TheBishop 2 Posted January 17, 2014 Not sure but that's what I'm to understand. Either way. Hope this helps someone :) And any time I've asked a question to NZXT I get a great help. Love them.
skorpien 1 Posted October 21, 2014 I just wanted to say thank you for providing this. Saved my butt just now.I also didn't think to diagram the PSU pinout on my V2 850W and my poor PSU tester paid the price... Thankfully NZXT uses the same pinout for both.Had the same issue with Corsair not using 1 to 1 pinout and was hoping NZXT would be different. Really can't figure out why manufacturers wouldn't use 1 to 1, other than to confound modders or out of sheer laziness... Or both...
