Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates the past few days, been so busy working every day until midnight to get this PC complete so i hope you all understand. I have the footage recorded so i will eventually get it done. But for now here is a sneak picture of where i am at. I used a pencil to draw up the panel lines then etched the whole thing top and bottom with the dremel and it took a Poopadilly tonne of time but well worth it.

Here I am drawing up the panel details on the tie-fighter. This will be the guide lines when etching into the surface.

To create the panel detailing I used the dremel tool to etch into the tie-fighter following along the drawn up lines. Both top and bottom of the tie-fighter has the panel details.

This is the result from etching into the surface. This took alot of time, patience and most importantly steady hands.

Further details of the tie-fighter panels where made by filling the etched surface with thinned down black enamel, aka black wash. Once again, both top and bottom  of the tie-fighter had this black wash.

More progress on the wings.

I painted the inside of the tie-fighter black.

I'm curious, why did you chop up a brand new P5 when you could have gotten a modular motherboard tray?

Also, that sculpting is top notch! I don't believe I'd ever have the patience.

I'm guessing the reason that he used a P5 is due to it being for a thermaltake competition. Certain parts were probably requires for the entry.

1st off, It came out fantastic. It just needs one of those '70s-era oversize action figures of the Darth.

You installed hardware...in the yard, and it looks like the final photos are in your shed? -Admit it. This doesn't fit through the door of your house anymore, does it?
