Full build to leak test water-cooling setup?

Recommended Posts

For some reason I thought there was a way to leak test without having all of the hardware installed just to be safer.  Could have made that up in my head.  Can someone verify?

Some people will leak test or really just test their watercooling parts outside the system. They would still need to be leak tested once installed because of all the fittings you'd have to install once it's in your case. Just use paper towels under a ll your fittings and only plug your pump into power. You can also do this with the PSU outside the case and use a jumper to activate or bypass the mobo switch. You should be fine without removing your psu. Just take your time and double check fittings etc before firing the pump up.
