What CPU water block do you recommend?

Recommended Posts

All great blocks just depends if you plan on cooling other components to keep them matched CPU/ Graphics card / Resivoir etc.

Hi guys, i'll build my first loop, but i don't choose cpu waterblock yet. What CPU water block do you recommend?

I use intel, and maybe too use intel in future upgrades. Personally i like these.

- EK-Supremacy (copper+plexi) http://bit.ly/190tpxf

- Koolance 380 http://bit.ly/16QSzuw

- Watercool Heatkiller 3.0 LT http://bit.ly/1fj3vX1

Really, its all about what chip you have but im a Watercool/Aquacomputer guy myself.

The Supremacy is a nice block performance wise and has a nice advantage of having jet plates that can alter the bow of the block depending on your chip.

Drop the EK

The Koolance 380 according to a multitude of tests is the best performing on the market, be it by a slim margin; certainly consider the Heatkiller 3.0 proper as opposed to the LT and add the XSPC RayStorm to that list  :)

I think that's a pretty good starter loop personally, good choice in rad as it functions well with all types of fans; I would still advocate an XSPC RayStorm CPU block however  :)

Hi, i have another question, the bitspower z-multi water tank is compatible with koolance bottom connector(coupler) 60mm and reservoir top 60mm?

Probably not.  Two totally different companies.  Bitspower has multi-port tops you can purchase to switch out the top/bottom of any of their Multi-Z  reservoirs.  Check Frozen/Sidewinder/PerformancePCs.

No,the threads are different,i tried it myself for my SR2.

You can just use a male to male coupler tho.
