  1. You and Onevoice, pick the hardest things to work with, polished metal. It's so much easier to make something look worn, then to look pristine. Love how it looks transparent in some places.
  2. Well this looks beautiful without mods so I'll be shocked at what you can do to make it look better. Seeing your other mods I know you have the skills to make this beautiful
  3. Those are some magnificent pictures. I can't wait to see how well all that stuff fits in there
  4. Sorry I haven't posted in a while I've been focusing on my main rig for a while, But I'm waiting to get the money to buy a XFX R9 290, so I can build a custom back plate for it. I started to make the front panel, This is my first time fabricating anything out of metal, The first one is what I have pictures of. Sorry it's a little blurry, I don't want to bring the dslr into the shop. I'm thinking about different designs I could cut into it but not sure. The second one I made looks just like this but It's 1/8" wider, I'm happy i'm learning though, the first one I built I measured the exact width, the second one I measure 1/8" wider because I found out my ghetto rigged metal bender takes about 1/32" of metal per bend, so four bends = 1/8". I also put a peice of white acrylic at the top, I will hook up white leds to the power so when the pc is turned on the top peice lights up.
  5. It was a great render job though. I think what could look cool, is maybe take the metal angles on the side panel that the window attaches to and cut those off and remake them out of acrylic. And maybe put a dim green led under that prime logo, also you should get some silver case feet from mnpctech.
  6. Very nice paint color. I like your pictures too, it always makes build logs more enjoyable when the pics are actually great.
  7. So thats how you make a cooler master look modern, You completely rip it into bits and rebuild it in a new way. :D Nice so far, looks like a promising start to an elegant build.
  8. Are you painting the edges of the case Blue or was that some where else. I want to put dynamat in my car, I just need to stop spending money on my computers and start actually saving.
  9. I always love Hanovers paint work, he manages to make the paint look 5 dimensional, the color is really cool to. onevoicewild, what you did with those wavy grills reminds me of something Bill did one time with acrylic flames.
  10. 23RO_UK, Watch Out Cheaps is watching you. Did you do that sketch, if so good job. and this should be one powerful little system. I've been waiting for updates on the Z-machine for a little while.
  11. I love brushed metal. Great choice Of theme I'm not sure if I like the first render design but I can't think of anything at the moment so Just go with you gut.
  12. I love sleek cases. this should fit lovely into any living room. Can't wait to see you progress.
  13. I haven't checked in in a while. But I forgot at the wrong time once I stopped you really started pumping out the updates. nearing the end i'd be very very hard pressed to find the slightest imperfection with your work. when ever I use a jigsaw to cut I always end up with about 1mm of over-cut do you have any tips to not have any over-cut.
  14. I never did figure out how to take those last two pieces apart. This thing will look incredible when it's all polished. Although I think it may tarnish after a while. I'm thinking about going in the opposite direction of you and seeing what a heavy sandblasted finish will look like with raw polished corners.
  15. I think it would be cool to do a Crow themed mod to this computer, even though this is a raven. I gues you could do an edger allen poe raven mod. Can't wait to see what you think of.
